Direct Billing

Direct billing is available through select insurance providers, saving you time and reducing your out-of-pocket costs upfront.

Direct Billing

Direct billing may be available for psychotherapy services through select extended health benefit providers. When available, I can submit eligible claims directly to your insurance provider on your behalf, reducing the amount you need to pay upfront.

Depending on your plan, your insurer may cover all, part, or none of your session fee. You’ll be responsible for any portion of the fee not covered by your insurance provider.

Insurance Providers

I currently offer direct billing through several extended health benefit providers. Availability depends on your individual plan, as some plans do not allow direct billing for psychotherapy services or may require additional steps before direct billing can be set up.

Direct billing has been successfully processed through:
  • Medavie Blue Cross
  • Veteran Affairs Canada
When Direct Billing Isn’t Available

If direct billing is not available through your plan, payment can be made directly and a receipt will be provided for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Understanding Your Coverage

Insurance coverage varies between plans. Clients are responsible for confirming their coverage and for any portion of the session fee not covered by their insurance provider.
