Coming Soon

EMDR and CBT-I will soon be available as part of my practice, offering additional, evidence-based approaches for trauma processing and sleep difficulties.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds) while recalling specific memories, allowing the brain to reprocess them so they feel less intense and more integrated. EMDR focuses less on talking through details and more on how memories are stored in the nervous system, helping clients move from feeling stuck to feeling resolved.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

CBT-I is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you get your sleep back when it feels completely off. If your mind won’t shut off at night, you’re lying awake for hours, or you’re exhausted but still can’t fall asleep or stay asleep, CBT-I targets the patterns that are keeping you stuck. It works by rebuilding your natural sleep rhythm, calming a racing mind, and changing the habits and thoughts that quietly reinforce insomnia. It can also support coming off sleep medications when needed.

How I Can Help

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Is Therapy Right For Me?

Considering therapy is a big step, and it’s natural to have questions. Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about understanding yourself better. It’s not just for crises—it’s for anyone seeking clarity, growth, or support in navigating life’s challenges. Whether you’re struggling with stress, relationships, or major life transitions, therapy offers a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.

Land Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I practice psychotherapy on the traditional and unceded lands of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples. I recognize the historical and ongoing oppression and violence of colonization across Turtle Island and in occupied lands around the world. I am actively working toward deeper learning and reflection, and recognize this as an ongoing responsibility.
